Frequently Asked Questions

Is there negative marking in MHT CET?

No. MHT CET does not deduct marks for wrong answers. Every question attempted is either correct (full marks) or wrong (zero). Always attempt all questions.

What is the MHT CET 2026 exam pattern?

PCM Group: 10 MCQs Physics (50 marks), 10 MCQs Chemistry (50 marks), 10 MCQs Mathematics (100 marks) = 200 total. PCB Group: Same but Biology replaces Mathematics. Total = 200 marks.

Why is CET percentile different from raw score?

MHT CET is held in multiple sessions on different days. Each session has slightly different difficulty. To ensure fairness, raw scores are normalized using statistical methods, producing a percentile rather than a direct rank from marks.

Yes. Students who are eligible for both Engineering (PCM) and Pharmacy/Agriculture (PCB) can attempt both groups. Each group's result is treated separately for admission purposes.
