What score is needed to clear NEET cutoff for general category?

For general category, the cutoff is typically 50th percentile. Based on recent years, this corresponds to roughly 360–400+ marks. However, actual cutoffs are decided post-exam by NTA.

What is the difference between NEET score and percentile?

Score is the raw marks (e.g. 540/720). Percentile is a relative rank showing how many candidates you outperformed out of the total who appeared. A 97 percentile with 540 marks means you scored higher than 97% of all candidates.
